Official Press Statement: Addressing the NEET Crisis and the Youth Unemployment Epidemic\nIssued by: Naman, Core Committee Member, Citizen\'s Justice Party (CJP)\n\nDate: May 21, 2026\n\nThe Citizen’s Justice Party (CJP) stands today to voice the collective anger, frustration, and despair of millions of young Indians. We are witnessing a twin crisis that threatens to hollow out the future of our nation: the systemic collapse of our national examination infrastructure, exemplified by the recurring NEET paper leak scandals, and the staggering rise of educated youth unemployment.\n\nFor a country that prides itself on its demographic dividend, the current state of affairs is not just a failure of governance—it is a betrayal of an entire generation.\n\n1. The NEET Paper Leak: An Assault on Merit\nThe National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is meant to be a gateway for our hardest-working students to enter the noble medical profession. Instead, it has turned into a playground for corrupt syndicates, paper-leak mafias, and institutional complicity.\n\nThe Loss of Institutional Trust: Year after year, structural loopholes allow question papers to be leaked, compromised, and sold to the highest bidder. This compromises the sanctity of the entire healthcare system.\n\nThe Human Cost: Millions of students from humble backgrounds spend years in grueling preparation, sacrificing their mental health, while their families take on massive financial debts for coaching. When a paper leaks, it isn\'t just a document that is compromised—it is the blood, sweat, and aspirations of honest students that are discarded.\n\nCJP Demand: The Citizen’s Justice Party demands an independent, high-level judicial probe into the examination body\'s operations, absolute decentralization of exam security protocols, and fast-track prosecution with stringent criminal penalties for anyone involved in the paper-leak ecosystem.\n\n2. The Epidemic of Youth Unemployment\nThe paper leaks are a symptom of a much larger, deeply entrenched disease: the lack of viable, secure, and dignified employment opportunities for our youth. Today, India is facing a historic high in educated youth unemployment.\n\nThe Degree vs. Employment Paradox: Thousands of engineers, postgraduates, and technically skilled graduates are forced to apply for entry-level manual jobs or gig-work due to a massive deficit in market-aligned opportunities.\n\nEconomic Stagnation: When our brightest minds are left idle or trapped in underemployment, the nation loses billions in potential economic growth and innovation.\n\nCJP Demand: We demand a comprehensive national employment strategy that bridges the gap between formal education and industry needs. The government must focus on structural economic reforms that incentivize job-creating sectors, revive small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and ensure transparent, regular recruitment for vacant public sector positions without bureaucratic delays.\n\nThe CJP Pledge to the Youth\nAs a member of the Citizen’s Justice Party, I want to say directly to the youth of this nation: Your struggle is our struggle.\n\nWe will not allow your hard work to be monetized by corrupt middlemen, nor will we sit quietly while your future is compromised by administrative apathy. The CJP will continue to take this fight from the streets to the policy floors until every student gets a fair examination and every qualified youth gets a fair shot at employment.\n\nJustice for our students. Jobs for our youth.
