Discrimination based on caste

Casteism has been a problem that I've faced alot . As a kid I never noticed it due to my innocence but in recent years it has become obvious... people stopped talking to me just because I belonged to a lower caste . My dad is a professor so we are financially stable yet we face discrimination I can't imagine how it must be for people belonging to lower middle class and even below ....my mom told me that when I was a baby i used to crawl to our landlords house as he lived right across my street and I used to play there but when I used to come back the people in that house used to spread cow piss all over their house to purify it ...a few of our neighbours don't even enter the lift if I'm in it also whenever they see me or my family members they just take a step back and try to act normal but they are disgusted for no freaking reason...its annoying atp wherever we go this discrimination follows us. For me and my family the problems we faced weren't too severe but they were annoying... anyways it's not the same case for everyone. There are people out there who suffer through discrimination on various basis daily and lose everything.
