related to smart meters used by Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited, there have been public complaints in some areas about:
higher electricity bills after smart meter installation,
prepaid recharge issues,
meter accuracy doubts,
disconnection complaints,
contractor or installation irregularities.
But “corruption” is a serious allegation and should be supported with evidence such as:
incorrect billing records,
recharge/payment receipts,
meter reading photos,
installation documents,
complaint numbers,
recordings or written demands for bribes.
