Change in Education system

The school system in India is failing our youth, and we need to completely restructure the school systems across India if we want our youth to thrive in today's competitive world.

Most of the focus of education has been on math and physics type of problems, exams, etc., for the purpose of earning as many high grades as possible, to get the best promotions after graduation.

The learning process is supposed to help them understand their place in the world, how to live a life well, how to creatively solve problems, how to be a responsible citizen, and ultimately to be a better person.

Too many students focus on earning grades instead of learning about the important things in life (like happiness) or how to define academic success. Grades are important, but accomplish much less in life than grades ever will.

The educational system in India needs major changes so students are given the opportunity to learn via real-life experiences; develop strong communication skills; have the ability to think critically; develop values and ethics that they can carry with them throughout their lives; rather than simply provide textbook-like responses.
