Early School Timings for Young Children
Many Pre-Primary and Primary children have to wake up by 6:00–6:30 AM because school buses arrive around 7:00–7:30 AM. This affects their sleep, energy and well-being.
In February 2024, Maharashtra directed Pre-Primary to Class 4 schools to start at 9:00 AM or later, but many schools still do not follow it.
Please consider raising this issue with the Maharashtra Government and Education Department as part of CJP’s public agenda.
