The scientific temperament of India
I want to get into research but looking at the current state of education and science in India, I'm not too motivated. Research is really important for the progress of a country. It decides the state of innovation and progress in the next 10-15 years. How long will India import every damn thing? We have so much talent, engineers, scientists, mathematicians but how many are doing something for the betterment of India? Either they are working abroad or working for clients from abroad. We take pride in our IITs, IIMs and even AIIMs but who is doing research and innovation to make India better. Look at China, they have been working for ev and battery research for more than a decade now. They brought this technology to the world. But, in India we are now getting excited and buying ev or even investing in it to earn some extra bucks. But we have to look for the future not just the present business opportunity. For that we need an education system which encourages people to think for themselves. Have our own voice, ask questions and innovation will follow!
Thanks for reading till the end, and hope we can bring about a change!
