Archaic Public Transport Networks

we are in 2026 and we still haven't achieved last mile proper transport for population. disconnected multi-modal transit systems have failed to solve last-mile connectivity in high-density areas. BRDS in jaipur is prime example of it. When BRTS was launched 15 years ago, it came with the promise of making Jaipur a ‘world class city’ as the city’s answer to its public transportation problem. the promised fleet of 300 buses was never fulfilled. now they have dismantled the project across India.
