Religion/Political-driven censoring of movies.

It's so upsetting to me that I have to put religion and politics in the same sentence but that's a different, bigger issue. Genuinely who is sitting in the censor board office, because why is one of the reasons for a movie getting held back the fact that someone ate beef, a Muslim girl being in love with a Christian boy, or that the main character is named Janaki? It's just plain stupid and not even funny anymore.
Can we get qualified people on the board? There are so many movies that get censored for the most random reasons and purely to create religious/political wars especially during election season.
