"The Indian government gives high reservations to certain categories, which makes it very difficult for capable students from the general category to get seats in educational institutes. While hardworking and deserving students lose out despite their efforts, others who may not have earned it on merit get easy access just because of the quota system. Even though modern India has largely moved past traditional inequality, this system continues to create unfair advantages."
