No control on what is being uttered in election rallies

It’s deeply concerning to see political leaders resort to such rhetoric in rallies. Even the Prime Minister is using derogatory language and repeatedly invoking caste and religion in public speeches. This lowers the quality of political discourse. The Election Commission appears to act selectively, targeting opposition leaders while overlooking similar conduct from the Prime Minister. We have seen in the past, under T. N. Seshan, how a Chief Election Commissioner can uphold integrity and enforce standards. In comparison, the current leadership of the Commission comes across as disappointing.

Current CEC should resign and previous system of CJI, PM and opposition leader electing CEC should come back. Current system of 2 from government and one opposition leader is just ridiculous.
