AGNIVEER IN THE INDIAN ARMY(TOTALY CORRUPTED)
There are many problems inside the Army system that people outside never see.
One major issue is the ACR system — the Annual Confidential Report. In the AGNIVEER scheme, this report plays a huge role because only 25% of AGNIVEERs will be selected for permanent service after 4 years, and this selection depends heavily on the ACR written by officers.
Now imagine the pressure and fear this creates.
Soldiers feel they cannot speak against mistreatment, abuse, or unfair behavior because they are constantly threatened that their ACR will be spoiled. 99.99% officers misuse this power. Abusive language, mental pressure, humiliation, and fear become part of daily life for many. You stay silent because your entire future depends on one report written by someone above you.
The second issue is punishment and fear of authority.
If a soldier speaks up or argues against unfair treatment, there is always fear of punishment. In the Army, punishments like pay fines can directly affect a soldier’s salary. The Commanding Officer has huge authority, and in most situations, the words of officers are believed over a common sepoy or AGNIVEER. Because of this, many soldiers feel helpless, unheard, and mentally trapped.
People think Army life is only about patriotism and uniforms. But many soldiers live under constant stress, fear, and depression with no one to openly support them.
Respect for discipline is important. But respect for soldiers as human beings is equally important.
This is not hatred against the Army. This is the painful reality many are afraid to speak about openly.
In the next part, I will speak about corruption related to money inside the system.
