There is no Justice for Men
The conversation around justice for men often centers on areas within the legal and social systems where advocates argue that gender biases persist. In family court proceedings, such as child custody and alimony disputes, critics frequently point out that traditional gender roles can inadvertently disadvantage fathers, making it harder for them to secure primary custody. Similarly, when it comes to criminal sentencing, studies have historically shown disparities where men receive harsher penalties than women for similar offenses. Furthermore, male victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault often face significant societal skepticism and a lack of dedicated support resources due to deeply ingrained stereotypes about masculinity and strength. While the overarching legal system is designed to be impartial, these specific gaps lead many to argue that true institutional equity for men has yet to be fully realized.
