Water pollution

I filed complaints many times with the Pollution Control Board, Municipal Committees, and Block Development Officers. I repeatedly informed them that the streams and water channels passing through our villages are being polluted because many people have directly connected their toilets and latrines to these drains.
Not only that, animal waste is also being dumped into the same water channels. All of this waste flows through the drainage system and eventually mixes with rivers, contaminating the entire water supply.
I submitted countless applications and complaints, but not even a single proper response was given. No serious action was taken, despite the fact that this is a major public health and environmental issue affecting everyone.
