Land Registry Freeze in Haryana While Government Land Is Allegedly Being Misused

In Faridabad and several districts of Haryana, the government has put restrictions on land registry for ordinary citizens. People are purchasing land with their hard-earned money, yet they are unable to complete legal registration, leaving them insecure and vulnerable.\n\nAt the same time, there are widespread allegations that influential politicians and powerful individuals are illegally taking control of government land and selling it for personal profit. This creates a dangerous situation where common citizens suffer while corruption continues unchecked.\n\nThere is also growing fear among people that after stopping registries for years, authorities may later declare these lands as “government property” and use bulldozer actions against homes built by ordinary families.\n\nIf the government is truly serious about transparency and anti-corruption, then strict investigations should first be conducted against those involved in illegal occupation or sale of government land. Honest citizens should not be punished for administrative failures and political corruption.\n\nThis is a very serious public concern and requires immediate action, transparency, and a fair land registry system for the people of Haryana.
